holocaust and PETA

PETA wants to stimulate contemplation of how the victimization of Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals, and others characterized as “life unworthy of life” during the Holocaust parallels the way that modern society abuses and justifies the slaughter of animals. Just as the Nazis tried to “dehumanize” Jews by forcing them to live in filthy, crowded conditions, tearing children away from their mothers, and killing them in assembly-line fashion, animals on today’s factory farms are stripped of all that is enjoyable and natural to them and treated as nothing more than meat-, egg-, and milk-producing “machines.” Hens are crammed on top of each other in small wire cages that do not afford them enough room even to lie down and have their beaks burned off with a hot blade to keep them from pecking each other for space. Pigs are kept in extremely narrow, barren, concrete-floored stalls and are castrated and have their tails cut off without painkillers. Calves raised for veal are torn from their mothers within hours of birth, causing acute distress to both mother and calf, and chained inside tiny, dark stalls, where their joints swell from trying to balance on slippery, waste-covered slats.

“The very same mindset that made the Holocaust possible—that we can do anything we want to those we decide are ‘different’ or ‘inferior’—is what allows us to commit atrocities against animals every single day,” says PETA Campaign Coordinator Matt Prescott, members of whose family were murdered by the Nazis. “We are asking people to allow understanding into their hearts and compassion onto their tables by embracing a nonviolent, vegan diet that respects other forms of life.”

There were several comments made about how it’s extremely unethical to compare the animals being killed in the meat/dairy industry to the human beings killed in the Holocaust. It is common knowledge that PETA uses photos of the Holocaust to show a resemblance between the suffering of a people and the suffering of a species. However, just because a comparison is being made, does not imply that those at PETA think the Holocaust is less of a tragedy. What it does imply is that in suffering, humans and animals are both capable of sentient feelings. They both feel pain, and both mass murders (for no matter how you feel about eating meat, you must admit that the industry does kill these animals) were commited or are being commited to a population of beings that are suffering.

I believe that the killing of animals in factory for all these years is far worse than the Holocauste which only lasted a few years. The ALF is doing what is right. If we dont go to extreme measures, these murders will not stop.

Our members staged a protest against cruelty of animals in Nagaland zoo. Recently there were some major problems in zoos. Zoos nowadays fail to maintain good quality surroundings for animals. Animals are made to live in confined cages where we cannot move freely like they live in wild. Our survey of some Indian zoos showed some disastrous status of animals living there. We are not against Zoos we just want them to maintain and give a peaceful place for the animals to live.

According to morungexpress.com “Activists of People for Ethical Treatment of Animal (PETA) staged a protest outside Central Zoo Authority (CZA) in the Capital on Thursday. There were just two members representing PETA, who wanted to draw attention and express fury at the recent incidents in which a leopard died in the zoo and two bears were killed by poachers for their bile inside the Rangapahar wildlife sanctuary in Nagaland.
During the protest, one of the PETA members disguised himself in the attire of a bear and lay in a coffin with sign board above it reading “Un ‘Bear’ able cruelty-Zoo’s are death traps”.
“We have decided to protest today outside Central Zoo Authority because people generally believe that animals are very happy staying in a zoo, which is not true. Wild animals should be set free in their natural surroundings. And all these incidents of killing of animals in zoo and the recent incident of deaths of two bears in Nagaland has forced us to stage a protest today,” said Sachin Bangheria, one of the protestors and PETA member.
It may be recounted that apart from these deaths, there have been reports of a couple of felines having died at the animal rescue centres where these creatures are meant to be looked after with utmost care.”

Recently deciever released some pictures of Sophie Monk a PETA loyalist for shopping at KFC. I feeli these guys are completely wrong and spreading fake news about a PETA loyalist. Sophie has admitted that she is a pure vegeterian she has own life according our internal news she was actually shopping for chips and bread in those pictures. Deciever has printed wrong information about her.

Here is her campaign picture where she posted semi nude for our famous “I’d rather go naked than wear fur” campaign.

Here is a nice list of top 10 super heroes who set an example to today’s people by avoiding conflict animals.

aquaman.jpg

10. Aquaman—The King of Atlantis, Aquaman can commune with sea creatures, whom he considers citizens of his ocean realm, and routinely protects them from being abused or exploited by the surface-dwellers.

9. Black Panther—As the leader of the African nation of Wakanda, the Black Panther has banned the evil White Gorilla Cult from his country. Members of the cult seek to gain power by killing one of Wakanda’s rare white gorillas, bathing in their blood, and eating their flesh (um, gross). The villain known as Man-Ape gained his superpowers by doing exactly that—incurring the wrath of the Black Panther and becoming one of his greatest foes.

8. Superman—In a one-shot “PSA comic” entitled “Superman: For the Animals,” Supes rescues a kitten from being thrown off a bridge by a group of kids named (seriously) Ballser, Charlie, Donuts, and Eightball and, in the process, teaches everyone a valuable lesson about not picking on anyone weaker than you—including animals.

7. Captain Planet—He just wants to save the planet from the evil Captain Pollution! And that, of course, includes all our wildlife friends who live there. Point of fact, though: “Heart”? NOT an element.

6. Thor—In the Ultimate Avengers animated movie, we find Thor out at sea with a group of activists protesting whale slaughter. If only his fellow Norwegians in the real world got the picture that whaling is a thing of the past!

5. Batman—Think of the Caped Crusader, and the first thing that comes to mind is his cape, of course. Animal lovers reveled when they learned that Batman’s cape was made of cruelty-free pleather—not leather. This superhero batvocate made pleather cool again, and PETA loves him for it.

4. Beast Boy—Everyone’s favorite Teen Titan also happens to be vegan (and not just because he’s been hanging out on peta2.com like pretty much every other teenager). You would be, too, if you had the metamorphic ability to turn into any animal and therefore had a little compassion for the ones that get eaten.

3. Animal Man—This lesser-known DC hero can mimic the abilities of animals and is an ardent advocate for animal rights. He’s a vegetarian, and in Animal Man #15, Animal Man saves a group of dolphins from cruel fishers and drops the villains in the ocean to drown—only to be saved by one of the very dolphins he was trying to kill.

2. Wolverine and Jean Grey—In X-Men Unlimited #44, Wolverine catches three neighborhood boys in the act of torturing and killing animals for kicks—and offers to return the favor on behalf of his furry friends. Using her psychic powers, Jean Grey instead makes the boys experience in their minds the pain and suffering that they caused to their innocent victims. In the next issue … Colonel Sanders!

1. Wonder Man—In Civil War: Frontline #5, part of Marvel’s epic Civil War story arc, Wonder Man is interrupted on his way to an important function by two S.H.I.E.L.D. agents looking for answers about a mysterious aquarium store bombing (read the book). The important function? A PETA banquet. ‘Nuff said.”

We have the monsoon season coming in South India. Its important to note that during floods your pets need care they need help only you can help your pets be safe during flood situations. Most of india will be affected by floods many cattles, dogs, birds die getting caught in heavy floods. This is mostly due to Human error we are more concerned about our selves and leave animals behind to die. If you have a pet or a domestic animal its your duty to save it during flood situations.

Animals need your help and knowing that we at PETA released some information on how to save the animals during flood situations.

  • Never leave your animals behind to fend for themselves.
  • Never tie animals up or leave them confined in any way, as they will be trapped and unable to flee rising floodwaters.
  • Know your destination ahead of time. Although human shelters often refuse animals, motels in the area will probably accept dogs, cats, and other small animals in an emergency. Do not plan to leave animals unsupervised in a car; they can suffer from heatstroke once ambient temperatures rise above 70°F even if water is provided and the windows are slightly open.
  • Place small animals in secure carriers and keep dogs leashed: Frightening sounds and unfamiliar surroundings may make them bolt and get strangled. Take water and food bowls, your animals favorite toy or blanket, a towel, and enough food for at least a week.
  • Have your animals microchipped, and put secure, legible I.D. tags on them.
  • Watch for other animals in need, including strays and animals left behind by neighbors. If you see an animal in distress and are unable to help, note the animals condition and location and call authorities for help as soon as possible.”

PETA volunteers are always ready to help if you think you need help from any peta members feel free to contact us through peta.org or helpinganimals.com atleast one out of more than 2 million volunteers around the world will always be there to help you.

Earlier this summer, about 130 pigeons were shot and killed with air rifles over two days to try to reduce the problem of bird droppings fouling equipment and work areas of the plant, which is under construction.

But a second shoot planned for August was canceled after a worker notified People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, or PETA, and the group contacted the Department of Energy.

“We were very happy they were so willing to talk to us,” said Tori Perry, a PETA cruelty case worker in the emergency response division. It discussed its concerns with DOE and also its contractor, Bechtel National.

An estimated 70 to 80 birds still are living in the Pretreatment Facility, the largest building being built at the $21.3 billion plant to turn some of Hanford’s worst radioactive waste into a solid glass form.

Usually pigeons are not a problem at construction sites because the noise and activity keeps them away, said Drew Slaton, spokesman for DOE contractor Bechtel National.

But most construction on the Pretreatment Facility and the High Level Waste Facility stopped for nearly two years to make sure that the design standard for the two buildings was adequate for a severe earthquake.

During the lull pigeons found the Pretreatment Facility, with its many holes for extensive piping systems and honeycombs of rebar. With construction resumed now, they are creating a risk to worker health and safety, Slaton said.

Pigeon droppings fall from the roosts, hitting equipment and making work areas slippery. Workers who do construction at the building’s highest levels may be startled as the birds suddenly fly out, Slaton said. The building will be taller than a 10-story building when completed.

There also is concern that the U.S. National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has identified a respiratory illness called histoplasmosis that construction workers are susceptible to if they work around pigeon droppings.”

Good to see people respond to PETA notices. Pigeon shooting for the sake of stopping bird droppings is not going to be a fair idea.

Paul F. Tompkins you are not funny when you featured in this show saying things about PETA which you shouldn’t have said. This is one of the sickest comedy shows i have seen. Paul you seem to be unhappy of stuff which PETA encourages. I am sure you never had a pet or treated them in the way they liked it to be. We ask you to give respect to animals not to call them Mr. Pigmy Hippopotamus. Love and care for animals should come from your heart its not some joke which people like you don’t understand.

PETA has their way, and all the zoos are closed down. Gorillas, orangutans and chimpanzees freely roam the cities of the world. Supermarkets cannot keep bananas in stock, as monkeys carry them out by the hand, foot, and tail-full.

Human beings, deprived of potassium, become weaker and weaker, unable to lock doors to keep monkeys from places they shouldn’t go. Former lab chimps wreak havoc in nuclear facilities, pushing button after button in hopes of producing more bananas.

A nuclear holocaust ensues, leaving apes at the top of the food chain. The apes enslave humans, whom they believe to be primitive creatures.

Wait! What’s that on the beach? The Statue of Liberty, buried up to its neck in sand! That’s right, PETA: You finally really did it! You maniacs! You blew it up! Damn you! Damn you all to hell!

That was sick. Animals are not going to take over the world if you show some courtesy on them they like this world and they are here to share this beautiful world with us. I hope you don’t do these kind of shows in future.

I totally disagree with this video. The stupid show no respect to vegeterians and vegans. ANIMALS ARE NOT INFERIOR TO HUMANS. And I believe that the killing of animals in factory for all these years is far worse than the Holocauste which only lasted a few years. We at PETA are looking for better quality of life for animals before slaughter.

Cows are not mean’t to be eaten they are very nice animals who are here to share the world with us. We Humans are too cruel to Cows though they are serving us a lot.

Cows are not mean’t to be eaten dead inside a Burger bun. They need this world and should find a peaceful and safe place to live it. Please don’t eat cows imagine you are killed and your body is chopped, cooked and stuffed inside a Burger, cows have the same pain.

Cows and buffalos are the most innocent animals in the world.
