

Vegetarian pop sensation Leone Lewis is named as “person of the year” by animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
The “Bleeding Love” singer gave up meat when she was twelve years old. She is a passionate anti-animal cruelty campaigner refuses to wear fur and leather.
She had a strict belief towards animal cruelty which has not gone unnoticed by PETA. So the PETA decided to make her star their top celebrity of 2008, taking over from fashion designer Stella McCartney.
The director of PETA Europe, Robbie LeBlanc says, Leona Lewis is admired for her most beautiful voice and her kindness towards animals has made her superstar in our book of record.
