

Animal rights group is accusing fort drum and 16 many other military institutes to stop abusing animals during training exercise. PETA says fort drum is making use of goat for their trauma training exercise.
According to PETA, The animal right group has written letters to commanders of each installation. But at fort drum the letter was addressed to Garrison Commander Col. Ken Riddle. In the letter Kathy Guillermo, PETA investigation department mentioned that “the military is not only breaking animals’ bones, its also apparently breaking its own regulation.”
PETA says that why the military regulations forbid the use of animal in training when other non-animal methods are available. It was also investigated that goats are used in training about twice a year and I every case goats are anesthetized.
In some military installations pigs are used in training exercise. In fact PETA is requesting the president of U.S barrack Obama to issue an order to all military regulation to switch on completely to non-animals methods for military trauma and chemical training exercise.
