People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India head Anuradha Sawhney won the “Women Achiever Award” by an environmental trust for her outstanding work in defending animals.

She is very brave lady. She exposed many cattle farm, chicken industry and slaughter house for cruelty towards animal all over the India and she took all necessary steps towards protection of animals from unnecessary pain and sufferings. She worked actively all over the year for the welfare of the animal regardless of time and place.

Anuradha Sawhney will be presented the award at a function in Mumbai on March 8th, which is celebrated as women’s day all over the world.
