Of all the animals pigs are very smart is what the scientists say. But can they match up to play with humans?

Here is how iPad App Pig Chase bridges this gap.  This game engages both humans and animals interactively in a game that gives emotional and moral boost for the humans and the pigs. The humans share a relation with the pigs and in turn become a source of entertainment for the pigs.

This was initially launched to give some sort of mental exercise for the pigs as study found that pigs that were frustrated often end up in quarreling with their neighbors , were often confused and unable to use their intelligence. This way of entertainment can use their smartness to be mentally active and can avoid conflicts.

A sneak peek into the Game

The whole idea here is to make the pigs a playmate to humans so that they will not end up in plates.

” The man’s Best Friend deserves t live better”. We have witnessed many a times the dogs being subject to inhuman treatment. Peta in its efforts to uplift the miserable lives of dogs have declared this January as the “Unchain a Dog ” month.

How can we contribute ?

Simple

  •  Spread Awareness , make people know that dogs once trained need not be chained and chained dogs can be ferocious.
  • Get actively involved in your commuity to help dog ownwers how to care better for their dogs.
  • Recommed dog owners to use a leash on dogs while taking them for a walk and set them free when back home.

These are all some ways that you can effortlessly spread the word and help.

But if you really want to get down and help:

  • you can get in touch with the local animal care center and help them take in the stray dogs from your locality.
  • If you spot anyone chaining beyond the chaining restrictions you can launch a complain with Peta.
  • You can engage with your local city council and help save the chained animals .
  • pass the word around to your friends and engage them in this noble activity as well.

Peta Activists will once again reveal skin to grab the public eye not on to themselves but to the boards that will bear “Bare Skin—Don’t Wear Skin,”. Set to start on 20 th JAn 2012 noon from the southwest corner of Forbes Avenue and Market Square, Pittsburgh.

Two girls are to walk the Pittsburgh streets wearing nothing but flesh coloured attire to promote the public to cut down the use of fur.”By showing some of our own skin, we hope people will consider letting animals keep theirs,” says PETA beauty Tracy Patton.

This may seem a bit too much and a few of us may even feel that this is all unnecessary ,but that is exactly what Peta is looking for, any form of publicity that would quickly grab people’s attention. Fashion Idol Tim Gunn says in the video . All the trouble that animals go through to be nothing more than a fashion accessory. That is not their destiny and we humans cannot  decide their destiny.

Just foe information – How animals are electrocuted, poisoned, gassed or have heads their necks broken to shed skin. Not only that how they had to endure the inhuman torture and treatment they were subject to in the farms and in the slaughter houses. This really is a shock – People stuff snakes mouth with hose pipes and stuff them with water so that they are plump, their skin turns tight on them to make the job easier for men to remove their skin when the snakes are still alive.

During an interview when the president of America Mr. Obama killed the fly with CNBC yesterday, the animal right group PETA said they wish Obama had served a better example.

Bruce friedrich, VP for policy at PETA said that we even support for the life of small insects. He says that brushing the flies away is better than killing them. So they sent a katcha bug, a device which traps bugs and allows their safe release back in to nature to the white house.

PETA hopes the President will use the catcher but has no far not received communication back from the White House, although they did not ask for specific correspondence.

Friedrich admits that despite his fly-swatting ways, the President has been a champion for animal rights in the past. PETA claims to be pleased by Obama’s denouncement of factory farming, Canadian seal hunting andMichelle Obama’s stance against wearing fur.

Many celebrities reach out  their arm to help animals with PETA. Raveena Tandon Thadani was spotted wearing a feline outfit that resembles snake skin while lying in a pool of “blood” which read, “Wearing Exotic Skins Kills. Leave Wildlife out of Your Wardrobe” .Lara Dutta spoke about going vegetarian.

Recently Sean Kingston with PETA Dishoom, the youth outreach arm of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India teamed up for an advertisement. Sean Kingston and his companion Stella were featured in the ad above the words “Chill with Your Dogs. Never Chain them” written on a sofa. The ad reads, “Your dogs are your best friends, so keep them inside and make them part of the family. Because life on a chain is no life at all” The ad is being launched during the period of his tour to India.

Apart from Kingston, musicians and other celebrities including pop star Justin Bieber, Linkin Park, vocalist Chester Bennington, and the members of bands like Indian Ocean, Parikrama and Pentagram have also teamed up with PETA Dishoom to help animals.

The rescue operation by PETA has recovered 11 injured dogs and 22day-old puppies that were kept at the SPCA, Pune in unhygienic conditions. This operation was held against the Pune chapter of society for the prevention of cruelty to animals (SPCA).

The chief functionary of PETA Mrs. Anuradha Sawhney says that “the stray dogs that brought to this place fro across the city are kept in very unhygienic conditions. An even basic need such as healthy food and clean drinking water was not served properly, in short the dogs and puppies are not given proper care that they required.”

N G Jayasimha of PETA claimed that This SPCA was established on January 23, 1923 to raise awareness of the abuse of animals. SPCA has been providing facilities such as OPD, surgery, treatment and shelter to animals from across the city. The primary motive of the SPCA was to treat and provide shelter to the stray dogs. But the fact discovered by PETA is that SPCA is now busy in treating private pets rather than abiding their basic duty for the simple reason that treatment of such dogs gives them more money.

PETA is everywhere and we at PETA know how to appreciate people for their ethical efforts. Vodofone recently launched a series of commericals or you can say one commercial per day on every Indian Premier League Match with ET like character which was introduced to this world by Sathyajit Rey. Zoozoos as it’s called it has some set of funny dressed characters which act out different features given by vodafone. Before these ads Vodafone company were using ‘pug’ commercial which we opposed. When pug commercial was introduced lots of people ended up purchasing pugs and lots of puppies were bred which after these people lost interest ended up in shelters or were thrown away to wander is streets.

Now zoozoos campaign is a hit and PETA’s india chief Anuradha sawhney says its good to see creative ways without usage of animals can reach people. Animals used in films are often treated as little more than props, and many suffer terribly behind the scenes.

Vodafone has been rewarded 2009 Glitterbox award for taking advantage of humage alternatives and making it a success. We whole heartedly appreciate vodafone for its efforts.

Limca book of records named People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) as India’s largest animal right group.

The chief functionary of PETA India “Anuradha Sawhney” said that “To be recognized by the Limca Book of Records is a great honor. An animal right is a movement whose time has come, and the support and recognition that PETA India has garnered shows that people are ready to make this a kinder world for all beings.”

PETA is doing there best in creating better living conditions for animals throughout the world with their creative advertisements and well known faces in order to inspire people to stop animal cruelty.
